Day #365 - Happy Happy New Year!

Taken with my cell phone exactly 1 year ago tonight.
I was with good friends, in the warmth of their house enjoying the warmth of their friendship along with a few glasses of bubblies! Whatever you all maybe doing tonight, whether you are out or home in your jammies, ENJOY!  May 2014 found peace in everyone's heart, good health and please oh please let those winning numbers be on MY lottery ticket!! Day #364 - Almost Over

I'm on the floor looking under the tree to see what the cat's knocked off as they just went barreling under it!
Surprisingly enough, they've been really good with it. I was hoping for some good Christmas pics like last year, but they let down. Thinking of tying some shrimp in it just before I take it down to see if they'll cooperate for some good photos. Erika the shrimp are all your fault!!! LOL :))

Day #363 - The Floor

Today was 1 of my most unproductive day ever!
A spent most of it laying on the floor playing on the iPad and watching tv.

Day #362 - I'm Old, I'm Tired

This toothless grin was hanging around in the greenhouse at Renninger's farm. This particular
greenhouse is full of some of the hottest peppers around, well full come spring and summer.
This guy decided to stay put for the winter! :)

Our office gingerbread building fun. Jesse's has a whole in the roof from a 'meteor,' Diane's is near perfect, mine is a fixer upper and for sale (best offer) and Laurie's looks pretty good too. As much as I'd like not to have to work, I must say I do work with a fun bunch! :)

Day #360 - Christmas Slug

Whose chair is this I think I know, her house in the village though ....
This lump of fur thinks this chair is his chair. Twice Jake has meowed
 and meowed at me and when I got up to see what was the matter,
he flew into my chair like a bat out of hell, curled up like
 this and went to sleep. How can I turf him out looking
like this? Yeah and he knows it too!

Day #358 - No Snow

I LOVE snow, BUT it's Christmas Eve and  Erika I've ordered a snow FREE Christmas just for you!! :)

Day #357 - Footprints

To show just how cold our cold snap with snow was, look at the footprints and ice that are 
still covering the canal after several warm days where we actually hit 70!! 70 only 
3 days for Christmas. It was almost creepy it was so warm.

Come on Old Man Winter, give us some more SNOW!!!!!!

Day #355 - What A Difference A Week Makes

What a difference a week makes. Last weekend we were caked in ice and this weekend we can shed our coats!!
Better be cold on Christmas or it won't feel like Christmas!! I WANT a blizzard, oh yes I do!!! :)

She was about 10weeks old here and weight about 3.5 pounds. Sweet little thing she was.
She's still petite and still just as sweet. Oh Zoey Zoey Zoey! :)

Day #350 - Why Buy Cat Bed

Why buy a cat bed, when all you have to do is put some blankets on top of the hutch. I found these 2 on
top of the hutch in my kitchen. I think I will put a nice soft blanket up there for them. Can you spell sucker!

We woke to the glisten of ice and was it ever beautiful!!

I so wanted to catch a drip falling. I clicked and I clicked and all I got was that teeny
tiny drip from an icicle I wasn't even focusing on. Oh well, may next time! :)

I at least had my iPad, but the quality just isn't the same! I'm really KICKING myself as I also saw a fox
romping around in the snow. There was noway I could capture it with the iPad. Oh well, what's 1 missed shot of a
fox playing in the snow? What,? A LOT, that's what!!  GRRRRRR :)

Day #337 - It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Chistmas

                  



I love my little bear. My cousin Jan bought her for me at the Green Dragon . The
largest farmer's market around.  OMG are there ever some great sights and sounds
there :)  Anywhichway, I saw this bear there and loved her little face and floppy body.
The next thing I know Jan hands me a bag and guess what was in it!

forever. These 2 rugrats are now big and bad and rule the roost. They're sweet little buggers! :)

Day #335 - Cheesey

This tacky little lady has to be at least 40+ years old. She
 sat atop our Christmas tree for as long as I can remember
growing up. For the last 10+ years she's been in box in
Mom's attic. Mom was going to toss the poor little thing
in the Goodwill box, the horror! I rescued her and
she's now  lighting up my mudroom and probably
posing a fire hazard as I type! Merry December everyone! :)

Day #333 - It's Over

They say it ain't over till the fat lady sings.
Well I didn't hear the fat lady sing, but I've seen icicles and from the
looks of those plants, I'd say fall is over and winter's here for a bit.
Unless we can have lots of snow, winter better hurry on up and move on out.
HURRY UP SUMMER!!! :)
