Day #333 - It's Over

They say it ain't over till the fat lady sings.
Well I didn't hear the fat lady sing, but I've seen icicles and from the
looks of those plants, I'd say fall is over and winter's here for a bit.
Unless we can have lots of snow, winter better hurry on up and move on out.

I love traipsing around Valley Forge Park. Last weekend I was trekking around with a friend
in the fields across from the chapel and liked the look of the old spring house nestled among
the trees and long grasses, so, you guessed it, I stopped and took a pic! :)

Me, myself and I went to Valley Forge Park this morning. We had fun taking pics of shadows :)
We went today as tomorrow is going to be a day to batten down the hatches and stay in. Old Man

on the roof of the Washington Memorial Bell Tower and clicked hoping for the best and this is what I got.

Day #314 - Guess What

Guess what I did today....... 

I peeled a million apples!!! I not only peeled them, but a week ago I climbed a tree and with an
apple picker, picked all those apples. They are 100% organic, crispy, sweet and DELISH!

The best invention! Without this sweet little gadget, there would be no applesauce in my
house, cause I'm lazy and no way would I have peeled, cored and sliced all dem apples myself!! 

Two crockpots full of apples and I ended up with a lotta of yummy applesauce. Warm applesauce and vanilla
ice cream may not sound the best, but OMG is it ever yummy and so worth the peeling of ALL THOSE APPLES!!

Day #313 - Couldn't Crawl Out Of Bed In Time

I so wanted to get to Valley Forge Park to watch the sunrise, but I just couldn't get my lazy arse out of bed in time! By the time I rolled out of bed, threw some clothes on, grabbed a Dunkin Donuts coffee and got to the park, this is what I found. Half an hour earlier and I would have been good. Next time :)

I was late for an appointment yesterday, so late that I had to reschedule.

If one can't make an appointment, one may as well take a detour.

It was the colors that made me stop and take a few pics with my trusty iPad

I think the rain, ok drizzle, made the colors yell 'STOP, come take pics of us!'

So I stopped and took pics! What else was a girl to do? :)
