Day #167 - Shelling Peas

| I saw these peas at Renninger's Farm and had to buy some. I have such fun and vivid memories of being at Grandma and Grandad's when I was, say about 5 or 6, sitting at the kitchen table shelling peas. One bowl full of unshelled peas, one bowl to put the shelled peas in and one to dump the shells in. Fun times that now seem a life time ago. Anywhich way, these peas, shelled and eaten as they were shelled were DELISH!! Must get some more for sure! ;-) |

| Welcome to the world little one. Yep, one might call me crazy, but it was so worth it! Just got my hair done, had a white skirt and sandals on, the rain was coming down, was holding an umbrella and Jay asked 'You have your boots?' No, but ..... my skirt is no longer white, my sandals are muddy & I'm filthy, but .... there's nothing like a soggy newborn calf!! |

Day #164 - Monkeying Around

| As much as I had to see animals confined, I was impressed with the tunnel trails at the Philadelphia Zoo. These mesh like tunnels are 925 long, looping around buildings and treetops giving the monkeys a little more freedom to run around. We saw several different monkeys running around in them. It was neat! |

| Yesterday I may have told someone that the animal they were pointing to was hogwart, but today I DO KNOW that these are flamingos!! Yes, I was corrected, Hogwarts are from Harry Potter and 'that' animal is a wart hog!! I guess one can't always be right! |
