Taken from the middle of Trenton's Lower Bridge. The ice below was impressive to say the least!
Unbelievable is more like it. Photos just don't give it justice. The don't show the vastness nor
the thickness of the ice. It was sight to see that's for sure!

Day #11 - A Frozen River

The Trenton Lower Bridge disappearing into the fog with a very frozen very impressive Delaware River
 under it. Well worth the drive up. I have never seen anything like it. The thickness and size of the
ice chunks were impressive and cannot be given justice unless seen in person.
So glad I ventured up despite the weather!

decided not to go for a third! Why not a third? Because that wild rose bush

Day #5 - The Jakemiester

Looky what I found on my cell phone. A toddler pic of my Jakey.  This time last
year he looked like this. Today the Jakemiester looks like a full grown cat. I will say,
 although he no longer looks little and sweet, he is now big and sweet and such a lovebug!
Loveable little thing he is! Meow :-)

Day #4 - Frozen Bubbles

It is C.O.L.D. here. How Cold? Bubbles freeze at 5F.
I wrapped up, my eyes teared, my nose ran and my fingers froze, but ............

Yep, bubbles do freeze when it's 5 or below! 

Next try and I will have a 3rd pair of gloves, someone to blow the bubbles while I take the pics and a
tripod as I couldn't hold the camera steady enough to blow them and take pics at the same time!
Brrrrr, baby it's cold outside! :)

Day #1 - Our Resident Squirrel

I have a resident squirrel that lives in the tree next door. He swiped a clementine that I'd tossed out. No, I didn't create this little piece of art nor did I put it on my fence like this, my resident squirrel did! Crafty little thing isn't he? 

I was on the phone earlier with my cousin in England when I saw this woodpecker hanging out on my almost empty nugget feeder. I grabbed my camera and while talking to Jan, I got on the kitchen counter and tried to get a pic through the window that had a window box full of it dead flowers still in it. I thought it a red headed woodpecker, but turns out it's a red bellied one. Guess he bought a wig to match his belly! Time to fill that feeder up as I'd like to see this little guy become a regular visiter!
