Water in the Woods! A wooded area at Black Rock Sanctuary that flooded. I couldn't capture what I was after. The reflections of the bare trees were impressive in person. We had a great afternoon of walking around the sanctuary. We're lucky to have so many hiking trails so close to home :)

| I was sitting outside yesterday with my neighbor Erika when I saw this leaf. It reminds me of antique lace. Sitting there was also a nice break from all the cleanup work we were doing. Erika, THANK YOU for all your help yesterday. It was overwhelming and with your help we tackled it ALL!! You're the best and I love ya! :) Oh and this pic would have made it on here in time, if I'd not fallen asleep before uploading it! |

Day #103 - An Expected Fun day!

| The end of a gorgeous 80 degree day, sunset over the Jefferson Memorial. We took an unexpected, but what a great day at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC! The blossoms were magical, parking was only $20, parking was close to the Tidal Basin, the weather was PERFECT and the day was great. A definite redo next year, but a weekday next time in hopes of a few less people :) |

| City Lights I went out straight from work yesterday and didn't get home till midnight, so .... too late to post! BEAUTIFUL balmy night in the city. We were outside for several hours down by the art museum and Fairmount Park. Fun evening and a definite do-over :) |

| My Daffs Are A Bloomin' I planted 100 daffodil bulbs for my grandmother shortly after she died. Now it's happy thoughts and a smile every spring when 'she' blooms. I love my daffs and I love my dear ole Grandma too! :) |

| Looky what I saw yesterday!!! It may still be a bit chilly outside, but not so in the greenhouses. This little flutterfly was having himself a feast on the flowers Jay has growing in his greenhouse. My guess is his mama spun her cocoon in there back in the fall and with the warm spring sun warming the place up out popped this guy! :) |
