Day #102 - Meet Junior
This would be Jay and Junior. Junior joined the Renninger family today out at Renninger's farm. He's 8wks old and as sweet as they come. You'll find him in the goat yard where he has his own little condo. He'll be there for a while keeping the goats company until he's big enough to join the rest of the bovine crew.

Cell Phone Pic
Finally, some nice spring weather. I don't know what we did to piss off ole Mother Nature,
but that was one longggggg winter!!! Anywhichway, my favorite tulips caught my eye as I
was getting in the car today. Work was going to wait a few minutes cause I wanted a pic! They
belong to my neighbor Joe. Joe, I love your tulips and only wish I knew what kind they are.

Day #84 - A Bridge To Nowhere
The bridge to nowhere. Where you get on it, I'm not sure. It's no longer used,
it spans the Schuylkill and can be walked under by
walking along the path from Black Rock Damn.
I think it carries the old railway line. I'll find my way up there and soon!
Some of the art work on display under the bridge. I wish I knew what the name of the bridge was/is.

Day #74 - Northern Saw-whet Owl
It was a rather cold and gloomy day and there were not many sightings at the John Heinz Wildlife Refuge, but I did snag a pic of this sweet little Northern Saw-whet Owl. He was rather hard to focus on behind all the trees and branches. Not the best pic, but you can still see his sweet little face ;)

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things ...........
Now these are the BEST toys!!! At least that's what Zoey thinks.
I'm finding 'baby' teeth on the carpet. So far I've found 4.
Wonder if the kitten fairy will come tonight!! :)

Day #64 - Dad's Birthday
Today, March 6th is my Dad's birthday. He would be 77. Dad died 13 years ago this April. Sitting outside a year or so before he died he said 'I'd like to come back as a butterfly. They are so carefree and free.' We scattered Dad's ashes at sunrise one morning. He was finally free. We also had a butterfly release that morning. One butterfly hung back. Fly we told it, you're free. It flew. Today, Dad's birthday with the wind howling and rain falling a beautiful yellow swallowtail came down the chimney at my Mom's house and settled on the fireplace screen. My brother Michael took this cell phone pic of it. It's on a paper towel on a old oil lamp next to the computer. Dad always sat next to that lamp. It's cold out, it's March, it's not butterfly weather. Love you lots, miss you lots ....... Happy Birthday Dad xx
