December 9th - Luminary Making

I spent the night at the Lock Tender's house helping to make luminaries.
Dan spent the part of the week and tonight prelighting 1,500 votive candles. Prelighting
them helps them light easier next time. 

I helped fold the tops down on 1,500 luminary bags. Others came round and dumped a
cup of sand in each and others followed with a candle for each. Tomorrow the cub
scouts will come and put them out all along the canal and across the bridge
